The overall objective of our film is to engage and motivate our audience to bring about real change to stop North Atlantic right whales from becoming extinct. Some specific goals are to: 1) Influence and inform the ongoing public debate about NARWs. 2) Defend the Marine Mammal Protection Act & Endangered Species Act and 3) Support and promote the development and implementation of on-demand fishing gear & whale safe sea food. Our target audience includes multiple stakeholders: 1) Policy decision makers who regulate fishing & shipping (at State & Federal levels); 2) Seafood consumers at the retail and wholesale level and 3) the general public interested in whales, the ocean and the environment.
