As part of the Francemer2030 and France Nation Verte initiatives, these events aim to bring together private players and public authorities around major challenges, such as the decarbonization of the maritime sector.
An initial round table will bring together the major international, European and French players who are setting the regulatory framework and driving the decarbonization of the maritime sector: the International Maritime Organization, the French Secretary of State for the Sea and Biodiversity, represented by Eric Banel, General Manager of Maritime Affairs, Fishing and Aquaculture, Hubert Dejean de la Batie, Vice-President of the Normandy Region, François Lambert, Director General of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure Maritime, etc.
The context will then move down to the regional level, where Normandy players such as Sandrine Samson from the Port of Le Havre (Haropa Port), Timothée Moulinier (GICAN) a Normandy shipowner and pioneers of the Towt sailing freighter with Guillaume Le Grand and Diana Mesa, will present their concrete initiatives and discuss common issues.
