Sophie Bacry Picciotto
Screenwriter, director, playwright and actress
A screenwriter, director and playwright, Sophie Bacry Picciotto is also an actress. Acting sparked a desire to go beyond simply creating characters and plots, leading her to train in writing stories that convey meaning, albeit in a tone that is naturally more feel-good than dramatic.
After co-writing her first play, 22 V’LA LES FILLES, Sophie wrote TOUT LE MONDE PEUT SE TROMPER on her own, a comedy nominated for the 2014 Bajen Foundation Author’s Prize.
Whilst continuing her career as an actress and singer, Sophie has collaborated on various projects (feature films and series), and her writing is inspired by women in their 50s and their power of seduction. This led to the short film VIRTUAL ATTRACTION (Pixaway Production-2018), in which the director had the pleasure of directing Florence Pernel. The film, selected for various festivals, encouraged the writer-director to commit more fully to writing her own projects and championing themes close to her heart, both in life and on screen. She thus directed TOUS LES TROIS JOURS, a public service announcement against domestic violence, to raise awareness of the citizen-led movement Le Point Noir.
Sophie co-directed two films with Ophélie Koering, L’INTERDIT and DANS L’OMBRE, exploring the dangers of a world without culture, and has written on citizenship and the issue of the duty to assist.

Katia Maksym
Katia Maksym primarily initiates and produces impactful content. She produces documentaries, current affairs programmes and digital formats that shed light on and help viewers understand the real world. The programmes she develops and oversees explore human and societal themes. Through series such as ‘Dans les yeux d’Olivier’ and ‘Ils font bouger les lignes’, and standout one-off programmes such as ‘Homos en politique, le dire ou pas?’, ‘À la hauteur’ and ‘Chemsex, accros au sexe sous drogues’, she champions authentic, bold storytelling that stays close to the human experience.

She is the founder of ICE Research Lab (Inclusion, Creation, Experience), an independent action research laboratory dedicated to human-AI co-creation, cognitive neurodiversity and the emergence of new narrative forms in the creative, cultural and industrial sectors. In this context, she has developed the 4D Certification, an assessment framework for creative skills that integrates technical, creative, reflective and inclusive dimensions, as well as the concept of creative cognitive prostheses, referring to co-creation tools capable of amplifying the design capabilities specific to cognitive singularities.
Her work focuses in particular on the conditions of creation in the age of artificial intelligence, on the recognition of cognitive diversity as a design resource, and on the challenges of European intellectual property sovereignty in the face of global standardisation dynamics. It also informs a project for therapeutic campuses dedicated to neurodivergent students in higher education within the CCI sector.
She is regularly invited as an expert, panellist and speaker on the transformation of screenwriting in the age of AI (SATIS) and trains students for pitch and public speaking competitions, notably as part of the national Ynov & EICAR competition, the final of which is held at TF1’s headquarters.

Eric Barbier
Three and a half years after the emergence in France of generative and extractive artificial intelligence, the threat has never been more acute for the information and creative industries, which are gradually being replaced by algorithmic agents that are supposedly faster, cheaper and more reliable. Confronted as early as November 2023, in his newspaper L’Est Républicain, with an experiment to introduce AI into the newsroom’s operations, Éric Barbier, together with his philosopher friend Éric Sadin, warns of the harmful consequences of this disruptive technology. The first destructive effects are already being felt and will only continue to grow without a collective awakening. We must raise awareness against these unlimited uses of AI, which are cutting off the heads of many employees and demobilising the faculties and knowledge that constitute and shape us. Through several factual examples, the journalist and member of the SNJ’s national executive will assess the extent to which AI has permeated our society. He will also reveal the dark side of this extractivist technology, which illicitly harvests monumental quantities of data protected by intellectual property rights to train its large language models.

Fiona Bélier is the Managing Director of The Media Faculty, where she supports audiovisual professionals in navigating the sector’s transformations. A specialist in new formats, artificial intelligence and sustainability issues, she has contributed to the development of groundbreaking initiatives such as La Fabrique des Formats and Rookie Stories.

LEO THE STEP
Passionate about music since childhood, I started on the Parisian scene in 2021. Since my beginnings, I've had the opportunity to DJ in many iconic venues in the capital,
whether in clubs, bars, or on radio stations.
Heavily influenced by the UK scene, and particularly by tech house and labels like Solid Grooves Records, I have a particular fondness for simple, effective, and groovy basslines.
Driven by the desire to make people dance and share my positive energy with the audience, I blend an underground vibe with more sunny and catchy sounds in my DJ sets.
After releasing two EPs in 2023 and 2024, I continue to develop my musical style with increasingly crafted productions, incorporating the acid touch that defines me.
Still guided by the same passion for music, I continue to explore new inspirations and new sounds. My journey is only just beginning, and I look forward to sharing my upcoming creations and performances.
