Résumé
Since ancient times, Oceanians have shared a sacred bond with the ocean. Today, however, climate change, rising sea levels, overfishing, pollution, and plastic contamination threaten an entire continent. At the forefront of these challenges, the peoples of the Pacific islands are mobilizing and taking action. From regenerating Polynesia's wilderness and reducing waste to protecting humpback whales from extinction and restoring coral reefs, they are actively working to safeguard their environment. By preserving Oceania's natural treasures and the extraordinary wildlife of its islands, they also help us better understand and protect the ocean. From the Hawaiian archipelago to Easter Island, from New Caledonia to Wallis and Futuna, and across Polynesia, this documentary celebrates resilience, hope, and the inspiring efforts of communities coming together to restore and protect marine life for future generations.
